Group Support

While support groups can vary greatly, all groups have one thing in common—they are places where people can gather together to share personal stories, express their emotions, and be heard in an environment of kindness, acceptance, and encouragement. These groups provide opportunities for you to be with others who “get it,” probably more than most others in your life. Participants share information and resources with one another, and confidentiality is of the utmost importance. By helping others, participants in a support group strengthen and empower themselves.  You become both a giver and a receiver of support

 You are not alone
